Los Angeles Female Firefighter Discrimination

The Law Offices of Zilinskas & Woosley filed suit against the City of Los Angeles for discrimination against a female firefighter. The suit was brought on behalf of a female firefighter who had been subjected to the same physical tests as the male recruits at the academy and had excelled in all respects. The suit alleges that despite meeting or exceeding all of the requirements to be a firefighter she was subjected to disparate treatment, including punishing physical tests that the male recruits were not subjected to, in an effort to destroy her career.
